Now in its 16th year the Go Outside Festival – GO Fest – is back in downtown Roanoke next Friday night through Sunday, a celebration of all things outdoors that includes hands-on experiences, a chance to try out new gear, take in the lumberjack show and check out some live music. That’s just for starters says Kait Pedigo with Roanoke Outside, who was live in studio this morning. Once again Explore Park will be part of the Carilion Go Outside Festival next weekend; free shuttle buses to and from the downtown Roanoke “base camp” will allow festival-goers to check out the Ultimate Air Dogs show and try kayaking on the Roanoke River. Hear the complete interview with Kait Pedigo below or watch it on Facebook.
