The opioid epidemic inspired a group of Roanoke Valley residents to join forces to fight the disease of addiction. September is National Recovery Month and as WFIR’s Denise Allen Membreno tells us, that group of citizens, The Roanoke Valley Collective Response, is using the designation to educate.
