Luke Bryan released his new single, “Word on the Street,” today, Friday, Feb. 20, 2026. After a week of studio teasers on Instagram, the full track leans into a familiar small-town truth: rumors travel fast, and sometimes the smartest move is to ignore them. It’s Bryan’s first new music since his 2024 album, Mind of a Country Boy.
On the song, Bryan brushes off the noise and points his attention elsewhere. He sings about letting the backroads mind their own business, choosing the sounds of the outdoors over local chatter.
“Word on the Street” also shares its name with Bryan’s upcoming Word on the Street Tour, set to launch May 29 in Gilford, New Hampshire.
Away from his solo release, Bryan is staying busy. The American Idol judge returns to TV this month, and he’s also featured on George Birge’s current radio single, “Ride, Ride, Ride.” With new music out and a tour ahead, Bryan is lining up a packed summer run with rotating support that includes RaeLynn and Randall King.
